I wish I could say F's were out of character for our family, but one of his parents, no names (aimee), received their fair share while growing up.
His current sleep pattern, if you want to call it that is to wake up every hour throughout the night just to be given his pacifier or quick head rub. Our doctor has suggested "sleep training". We are now attempting to Ferberize him. I cannot even say it with a straight face. If you've seen the movie Meet the Focker's you will understand. If you are very familiar with the movie, the answer is no, we are not using a rubber booby. Although, right now we would try anything to get him to sleep at night. Essentially, this "method" trains parents to ignore crying babies in the middle of the night. Of course, if you sell it that way the creator would have found himself in trouble with the law. Attach a smart name like "Ferber" and all of the sudden it becomes a legit parenting method.
His past few weeks have been very busy going to the G.I doctor, sampling every formula known to man, baby play groups, drooling (no wears a bib full time), and trips up to VT. If you know anyone looking for a new formula please ask us, as we probably have a wider variety on hand than CVS.
