It's been a while but the blog is back. What started out as weekly quickly went to bi-weekly, monthly, now bi-monthly and I think it's happy place will be quarterly. A kid takes a lot of time. Who knew? Combine that with a garbage internet connection and blogging becomes an awful chore.
Cooper's a real little boy now. He talks a ton and is sure to tell you what he likes and doesn't like. "No" is his favorite word. Here's a list of his current vocabulary - words he says and/or tries to say:
No, yes, yeah, please, thank you, sorry, I love you, car, bus, tractor, fish, bath, no, beans, broccoli, banana, milk, more, done, school, shoe, hat, no, mama, daddy, mum, eye, knee, ocean, no, bridge, island, muddy, fast, cheese, bunny, honey, peanut butter, jacob, theo, pool, spoon, read, no, elmo, baby, bottle, phone, van, in, on, off, light, school, maine, vermont, chipmunk, turkey, bowl, play, inside, boat, dock, running, ferry, lawnmower, drive, woody, playdoh, bed, crab, up, LL Bean, no, night night, tree, bee, mountain, bye, wait, water, truck, helicopter, meeow, lobster, hi, away, clean, bike, windy, green, red, stop, go, doctor, dump, dance, hot, one, three, rice, cereal, meat, raining, boots, down, rock, Bubbe, Zayde .
Many of his other words are either sounds or signs that only we can understand. Aimee speaks Cooper very well. I'm slower on the uptake and usually need translation from Aimee.
